Soaring Beyond Limits: The Story of Abhinav Sujith

At just 14 years old, Abhinav Sujith has achieved what many aspiring aviators dream of a solo glider flight that places him among the youngest pilots in the world to do so.

Born in Shanthi Nagar, Perumbakkam, Chennai, and currently living in the United Kingdom, Abhinav’s journey from classroom to cockpit reflects focus, discipline, and a deep fascination with flight.


A Record-Breaking Achievement

  • 2nd youngest to complete Solo Gliding in the UK
  • 1st youngest to achieve the feat in Asia and India 🇮🇳
  • Now preparing for his Bronze Badge and upcoming participation in the FIA Sailplane Pilot Licence (SPL)

These milestones aren’t just about skill — they represent years of perseverance, learning, and passion for aviation that began when Abhinav was just 11½ years old. Within a few years of training and flight experience, he successfully completed his first solo flight at 14 — a moment that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
