Anti-doping
If a competitor has to take, for a medical condition, any of the substances listed on the WADA Prohibited List
then he must have a Therapeutic Use Exemption from the FAI.

FAI Sporting Licenses
Each competitor, team manager and assistant team manager must possess a FAI Sporting License, valid for
2026, issued by their NAC and be recorded on the FAI Database.

10. FLYING MODEL FACILITY
Accessibility
Practice facilities for competitors will be available ahead of the contest.
F2A/F2G – Official circle, 27th April onward, except during World Cup.
F2B – Off site and official circles, April 28th onward.
F2C – Official circle 27th April onward, except during World Cup.
F2D – Off site from April 28th, on site from April 28th Except during bouts.

Flying times
You can fly from 07:30 to 17:00

11. TRANSPORTATION
The Organizers can accept pre-shipped models if needed. Contact Contest director for assistance.

12. PARTICIPATION
National Teams may consist of:
Team Manager.
Team Manager Assistant.
For each class:
• Competitors: maximum of three (pairs for F2C), no age or gender restrictions
• Optionally, one additional competitor (pair for F2C), age: Junior, no gender restriction
• Optionally, one additional competitor (pair for F2C), age: no restriction, gender: female
F2D mechanics.
Helpers.
Supporters.

Direct qualification
The reigning World Champion has the right (subject to the approval of his NAC /National Airsports Control) to
participate in the next World Championships in that category regardless of whether he/she qualifies for the
national team or not. If he/she is not a member of the national team, his/her score will not be considered in the
team results.
According to B.3.5 and B.3.4 SC ABR 2026

13. CLASSIFICATIONS
FAI medals and diplomas will be awarded to the first three individual places of the overall placings, as defined
by the CIAM General rules, section C.15.6 Classification.
• All competitors regardless of gender or age will be considered for the overall ranking.
• All competitors entered as junior will be considered for the junior ranking.
• All competitors entered as Female will be considered for the female ranking.

Awards
As per CIAM General Rules, C.15.6.1 Individual classification:
b) For any class where a junior may participate in a Continental or World Championship as a fourth team
member under C.5.3 a), all juniors are considered for the following awards:
– FAI medals and diplomas will be awarded to the first, second and third placed juniors only if six (6) or
more juniors are competing. If the number of juniors participants is less than this number (six), then only
FAI diplomas will be awarded
– The best junior earns the title of Junior World or Continental Champion if juniors from at least four
different nations participate in that class and the total number of juniors are six (6) or more.
c) For any World or a Continental Championship, all females are considered for the following awards:
– FAI medals and diplomas will be awarded to the first, second and third placed females only if six (6) or
more females are competing. If the number of females participants is less than this number (six), then
only FAI diplomas will be awarded.
– The best female earns the title of Female World or Continental Champion if females from at least four
different nations participate in that class and the total number of females are six (6) or more.

Notes:
All fees must be received by the Organisers February 9th, 2026. This also includes payment for fuel,
banquet etc.
For entry fees received later than February 9th, 2026, participants will pay an additional fee of 10%.
The entry fee paid at the contest site will be increased by 20%.
All fees paid at the contest site, must be paid in cash or by major credit card to the contest office.

16. ACCOMODATION
It’s up to the teams to book their accommodation.
• Many accommodation options are possible within 20 minutes by road.
• For accommodation options and details please contact the known reservation portals like
booking.com, trivago.com, agoda.com and similar.
• Average price of Budget Hotel accommodation is possible for 60 CHF per day / for 1 person in share
Camping at the contest site is not permitted!

18. MEALS
Breakfast
Breakfasts and dinners will be served at hotels or nearby outlets.
Lunch
Lunch at the airfield. A variety of food and refreshments will available daily at the site.
Lunch time estimated from 12:00 to 13:00

20. COMPLAINTS AND PROTESTS
See following Sporting Codes:
FAI Sporting Code General Section Volume 6.2.2 & 6.3.2, and CIAM General Rules Volume C.20
Two levels of redress are defined: complaint and protest:
• The purpose of a complaint is to obtain a correction without the need to make a formal protest. It is
recommended that a complaint is made before submitting a protest. If dissatisfied with the decision,
the complainant(s) concerned must inform the Contest Director as soon as possible of the intention to
submit a protest.
• All protests must be presented by the team manager(s) in writing in English to the Contest Director and
must be accompanied by the deposit of a fee of 50 CHF (or equivalent amount for a different currency).
In the case of a joint protest, every protesting team manager must pay the protest fee.
Return of deposit
The deposit is returned if the protest is upheld only.

21. MODELS PROCESSING
FAI Specification Certificate
Each competitor must present a valid FAI SPECIFICATION CERTIFICATE for his model(s) confirmed by his NAC,
according to FAI Sporting Code Section 4 Aeromodelling, CIAM General Rules 2026 Edition.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Model aircraft not properly processed by NAC, must be processed by the organiser at a cost of $15AUD for
each model (see CIAM General Rules, C.12, b).

22. NATIONAL FLAGS AND ANTHEMS
Team manager duties
The Team Manager, or any other team member in his place, is kindly requested to bring two flags approximately
1 m x 1.5 m and a CD or USB Stick with the national anthem.
Collection and return
Flags and CD will be collected during the team’s registration and returned after the closing ceremony.

23. REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS
Time and place of registration
Registration of participants will take place in the Event Office according to the Official Schedule.
During registration the Team Managers must present:
• Competitors, Team Manager, Team Manager Assistant FAI Licenses
• Final Entry Form signed and stamped by the National Air Sports Control
• A copy of the teams banking payment of the Entry Fee receipt
• Two national flags 1.0 m x 1.5 m
• One CD or USB stick with national anthem MP3 format.
Note: For FAI Licences that do not carry photographs, or the date of birth then valid
photographic ID is required.
During the registration the Team Manager will receive:
• ID cards for all team members
• Vehicle passes to enter
• Banquet invitation cards
• Souvenir Bags

24. ENTRY FORMS

The Preliminary Entry Form signed and stamped by NAC must be sent by post, e-mail or fax no later than
November 5th, 2025
Final Entry Form

The Final Entry Form typed or written in block letters, signed and stamped by NAC must be sent by post and e-
mail no later than January 14th, 2026

25. FUEL FOR MODELS
Purchasing
Competitors can order to the Organizers fuel for practice and contest purposes.
Fuel Order Form will be available at the official championship’s website.
Shipping
Fuel for F2B and F2C models can be shipped to the Organizers.
The responsibility for on time delivery of fuel to the contest site lies with contestants.
Note: The Organizers are responsible for arranging safe storage for this fuel.

26. VISAS
Visas are required to enter Australia. Visa information can be provided by your nearest Australian
Consulate or online at www.australia.gov.au/people/tourists/visas
Letters of invitation can be requested from the Secretary of MAAA at secretary@maaa.asn.au

27. SIGHTSEEING AND SOCIAL EVENTS
Several social outings and tours will be arranged for both Daytime and Evenings

28. CAR RENTALS
Rent a car
For competitors arriving at Perth International Airport, most major car rental companies are present in the
arrival hall. Others have depots close by or near your accommodation.
Costs
National Teams and Individuals are responsible for the cost of any car/van rental.

29. INSURANCE
All competitors will be covered by the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia group insurance for third
party liability.
All visitors to Australia should provide their own medical and travel insurance.

30. SPECTATORS & MEDIA
The Organizers will arrange for promotion and media.
During the championships the results will be published daily on the internet website.

31. TENTS AND ELECTRICITY
For pilots waiting for their contest flights there will be shelters close to the circles.
At the F2B site there are connections of 240 V supply for charging batteries.
