119th FAI General Conference – Vantaa, Finland

The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) is pleased to announce that the 119th FAI General Conference will take place from 22 to 24 October 2025 in Vantaa, Finland.

Strategically located in Finland’s capital region, Vantaa is home to Finland’s main international airport, offering direct connections to every continent. This makes travel convenient for delegates worldwide. Despite its proximity to the airport, the conference venue is surrounded by serene Finnish forests and nature – creating a unique setting where aviation meets tranquility.

All official meetings of the 119th FAI General Conference will take place at, or within walking distance from, the Clarion Hotel Aviapolis.

Accommodation
Delegates are encouraged to book accommodation directly at the conference hotel:
-Standard Room (1 person): €129 / night
-Standard Room (2 persons): €149 / night
Rates include buffet breakfast and VAT.
Reservations must be made individually by each participant using the allotment code: FAIGC2025 via the official Reservation Link – Conference Hotel.
Booking deadline: 20 September 2025
Payment: Directly at the hotel upon arrival (credit card guarantee required at booking).
Cancellation policy: Free of charge up to 7 days prior to arrival.

Getting There
The Clarion Hotel Aviapolis is just minutes from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport:
-By Train: Take the I train to Aviapolis Station (2 minutes). The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the station. Tickets (€3.40) can be purchased at the airport or via the HSL app.
-By Taxi: 5–10 minutes, approx. €15–25.
Visa Requirements
The organisers will make every effort to support the entry of all international participants, in line with FAI Statutes and By-Laws.
-General visa information for Finland is available at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs website.
-Delegates from countries requiring a visa may request an official invitation letter from the organiser.
