Greetings from the Aero Club of India.
This advisory is being issued to ensure clarity, uniformity, and smooth coordination across the air sports ecosystem in India and in our international engagements.
Members are kindly advised that all air sports activities and participations – including hobby, recreational, training, sporting, and competitive events, whether undertaken within India or abroad – are expected to be carried out under the aegis of the Aero Club of India (ACI), in its role as NAC-India. Prior information, clearance, or authorisation from ACI enables appropriate coordination, safety oversight, and alignment with national and international frameworks.
Members are requested to note that participation in air sports activities without ACI clearance, or in events that are not authorised or accredited by ACI, may impact the validity of national or international sporting permissions, licences, or memberships issued or endorsed through ACI. Members are therefore encouraged to keep ACI informed in advance of any such engagement to avoid any inadvertent regulatory or procedural complications.
This advisory is intended to support members, safeguard their interests, and preserve the integrity, recognition, and orderly development of air sports in India, while ensuring continued alignment with international sporting protocols.
